Yeah, I kjnow most of you heard the news yesterday, but it was unconfirmed. After about 6 months of students staying at home, the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU) has officially called off its strike action starting from today December17th. They announced their decision at a press conference today
The strike was called off after a meeting in Minna, Niger State yesterday, days after ASUU signed a new agreement with the Federal Government. They have ordered lecturers to resume immediately. Congratulations, students!
