The Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) led by Mr. Jonah Jang of Plateau state has appealed to the striking members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities to suspend the current industrial action in the interest of the nation. The forum also reviewed the on-going constitutional amendment and constituted a five-man committee headed by the governor of Katsina state, Mr. Ibrahim Shema with a mandate to streamline the proposed amendment.
