No maternity leave for Kanye West. The rapper, who welcomed a baby girl with girlfriend Kim Kardashian this past Saturday, is already back to work, just a day before his new album Yeezus hits record shelves.
Both have been quiet since the delivery; Kim is healthy and resting, while Kanye, on the other hand, is punching his time card this week to promote his latest studio project. Yeezus, stratospherically anticipated among both music and entertainment media circles, hit the Internet days before its release last Friday, but apparently things leaking early runs in the family—Kim wasn’t expected to give birth for another five weeks.
Her youngest sister, Khloe Kardashian is the first of the klan to speak on the delivery, tweeting:
Translation: “When the time is right!” which must mean there’s still fresh ink to dry on Kimye’s exclusive magazine cover rights.
Following the new album's release, Kanye’s going on tour, and Kim is expected to join him on the road with their newborn eventually.
