Xclusive: RCCG’s Pastor Adeboye: A private jet is necessary for God’s work

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye has responded to criticism which hit him after purchasing a private jet, saying it is “necessary” for God’s work.
In an interview with Al-Jazeera, Daddy G.O., as he is fondly called, said “There are things you need as a General Overseer… When you have to oversee churches in 160 countries, you can’t do that on a bicycle.”
It is becoming quite a trend amongst pastors these days, leading to condemnation of the profession from most of the masses.
