Chelsea sealed their place in the last four of the FA Cup, after a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Demba Ba scored the only goal of the match in the 49th minute, connecting with a lofted Juan Mata’s pass at full stretch.
Javier Hernandez came
close for the visitors, but saw his header tipped over the bar
spectacularly by Petr Cech. Robin van Persie, on as a substitute, also
wasted a glorious chance from six yards.
Chelsea will now face City on the April 14 at Wembley. Wigan and Millwall play the second semi-final a day earlier.
