HRM Jayi hails from Ekiti State, Nigeria, but was born and breed in the Ancient Benin Kingdom, Edo State. He writes simple songs about complex things: about love, family, experiences and life in general.
HRM Jayi has always had passion for music growing up. He was involved in his high school choir as a teenager and then joined a hiphop and RnB group while studying abroad.
Coupled with making music, HRM Jayi has been involved in a notable number of Jingles productions for companies like Lux, one of which featured Asian movie star, Maggie Q and for Southeast Asian telecommunications companies; Celcom and Maxis.
HRM Jayi has a Business Administration degree from the University of Hertfordshire, UK; an MBA/MA and a masters degree in Business & Information Technology from INTI Laureate International University, Malaysia.
The love for country and music has brought him home to play his part in the growth of our local music industry.Aside this great track produced by Gospel, HRM Jayi is currently working with other notable music producer in the industry. His spare time is sent doing charity work with his family’s non-profit organization.
