Of course he will be welcomed like a king. Ask Manchester United fans, they didn't get over his move to Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo knows this too well.
And just like his ex-coach, Jose Mourinho, he might go back to where he is loved, or sorry, where he's most loved. (I think) The 28 year-old Portuguese has told Manchester United that he would like to return to the club next season.
Although, they tried bringing him back to England some months ago, Manchester United have not really made an offer but..... he's eager to return.
