50 Cent appeared in court in the US and pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges
Rapper 50 Cent is due in court on charges that he attacked his ex-girlfriend and trashed her apartment.
The rapper whose real name is Curtis Jackson-has been asked to hand in any weapons he may own to the police within the next 24hours.
If convicted, the rapper could be facing up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines.
The charges were brought against the Candy Shop star after his ex-girlfriend, Daphne Narvaez, told police that during a 23 June argument, Jackson began destroying property at her California condo before she locked herself in a bedroom. She says Jackson kicked open the bedroom door and kicked her, causing injury. He kicked her and trashed her house.
The In De Club singer's ex Daphne claims she has been in a relationship with him for over three years and that they have a baby together, although this has never been confirmed by 50 Cent.
He is now due back in court on 4 September.
