<span style="font-family: inherit;">Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Castro (on the right) has died from a jet skiing accident. <span class="_5yl5" data-reactid=".m2.$mid=11404666048575=275399a56b337138366.2:0.0.0.0.0" style="border: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">Asamoah Gyan, Castro and 3 others checked in Peace Hotel in Ada since late Friday. All five including Castro hired 5 jet skis (with life guards), on Sunday for a ride. After hiring the Jet Skiis, Castro was said to have gone to pick his girlfriend from the Peace Hotel. Eye witnesses say, they saw all five riding until the girl was allegedly seen falling in the water. Eye witness say, Castro was seen trying to rescue the girl. At this point the electronic trackers on Castro went off, signifying he was off his Jet Ski. That’s when the search started. All four persons have since been found, Castro’s Ski was found minus Castro. Body later seen lifeless.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Exclusive Events Ghana, organizers of the Miss Ghana event, the longest running beauty pageant in Ghana, has with immediate effect relieved the reigning queen, Miss Giuseppina Nana Akua Baafi of her role as Miss Ghana 2013 Ambassador.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">The decision, Exclusive Events say has been reached after Miss Baafi’s decision to stand down as Miss Ghana 2013.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">A letter dated July 3, signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the company, Samuel Bokorvie, and sent to Miss Baafi reads:</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">“As you are aware, upon your crowning as MISS GHANA at the 2013 Beauty Pageant Contest organised by Exclusive Events Ghana Limited, the Franchise holders of the MISS WORLD GHANA PAGEANT you became the Ambassador of the MISS GHANA brand and as a result you were to be mentored and groomed for the MISS WORLD 2014 event.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">“To facilitate this grooming and mentoring process, you were housed at an official residence and given a chaperone.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">“In view of this elevated status as the Miss Ghana Brand Ambassador you undertook to behave and conduct yourself in a manner that would not bring the brand into disrepute and public ridicule.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">The letter further implored her “to hand over all properties belonging to Exclusive Events Ghana Limited in your possession within five (5) working days of receipt of this notice. “</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">It also reads: “Also, you are advised not to hold yourself or represent the MISS GHANA brand at any forum and please be informed that Management of Exclusive Events Ghana limited reserves to itself the rights to institute legal proceedings against you or any person holding herself out as such.”</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">The decision, Exclusive Events also adds was informed by Miss Baafi’s decision on Thursday May 22, 2014, that she was no longer interested in being the Miss Ghana 2013 Brand ambassador.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">“We seemed to have been naive as we rather chose to remain optimistic of your character and role. A Ghanaian female deputy minister has been dismissed by the country’s President John Dramani Mahama after she allegedly said she will not quit politics until she makes at least one million dollars.

Deputy Minister of Communication, Victoria Hammah, (pictured above) was sacked today, a day after she was heard in a leaked tape to radio stations saying she would not quit politics until she’s rich.

The voice purported to be that of Victoria Hammah is heard telling a female companion

“I will not quit politics until I make one million dollars. If you have money then you can control people.” She also criticized another minister, the deputy minister of gender, children and social protection, Rachel Appoh, in the leaked tape. She said “it was useless for the deputy minister to fight Nana Lithur whose husband is friends with former President Jerry Rawlings and was President Mahama’s lawyer during the 2012 election challenge. She cannot boast of 100,000 Ghana cedis or 100,000 dollars.

The Ghanaian government released a statement today announcing her dismissal, but didn’t give any reason for the sack. That’s how politics works in Ghana. She was sacked for what she intended to do and not what she’s done already. Nigeria should learn from this.

heavily on Charter House, organizers of the annual Ghana Music Awards 
accusing the outfit of illegally awarding the <b>Reggae Dance Hall Song of the Year</b> award to Kaakie.<br /><br />Just
 some few minutes after Kaakie was announced winner of that category 
which also had Bandana, Blakk Rasta, Eazzy, Knii Lante and Samini as 
contenders, the artiste popularly known for the hit song <i>Bandana From Ghana</i> took to social media platform, Twitter to vent his anger at the organizers.<br /><br />This
 year’s awards came off at the Accra International Conference Centre 
Saturday night and while many have praised organizers for a good show, 
Bandana thinks otherwise.<br /><br />He tweeted that: “F**k Ghana music 
industry, F**k charter house and I mean this from my heart .i don't need
 them in any way ..big up to all Shatta wale fans.”<br /><br />“F**king 
hypocrites,liars,sons and daughters of satan,I hope they sleep and don't
 wake up.. Charter hose should used for a public toilet .....I don't 
need any award in Gh or any nomination..f**k Gh music industry..” he 
added.<br /><br />Bandana did not spare Kaakie, who walked away with two 
awards on the night. He said: “F**k khakie who [can't] even write her 
own music...I know how they did this...but trus mi we kno how to handle 
dis.”<br /><br /><i>Shatta City</i> hit singer added that: “I pray all those
 who mis judge me here face the wrath of the almighty that has given me 
the talent and mankind is not appreciating. This time I will direct 
people to the nearest public toilet..charter house hahahaha ha..”<br /><br />According
