Honestly i don't mean to be rude, but this is about the first time I'm 
coming across this blog. And i can't stop laughing. I will just paste it
 the way the guy reacted to the lawsuit on his blog. Funny dude.<br /><br />
N100 million ko!...i laff in carribean...Fashion designer and stylist of
 Late singer, Goldie Harvey has filed a N100 million naira lawsuit 
against me for allegedly using homophobic slurs against him(according to
 how it was stated in the letter).<br /><br />They said i also insulted his 
taste of fashion and that i should delete the posts and issue an apology
 otherwise they will demand N100,000,000 from me...isn't that funny 
,people? see, i did not call him gay...i called him a fag...they are 2 
different words which are disputable in the court of law and i never 
insulted his taste of fashion. i will post the links of the stories

The Pope's position on gay people appears to contrast with that of his predecessors.<br />

Pope Francis has said gay people should not be judged or marginalised.<br />
<br />
Speaking to reporters on a flight back from Brazil, he said: "If a 
person is gay and seeks God and has good will, who am I to judge him?"<br />
<br />
The Pope's remarks are being seen as much more conciliatory than his predecessor's position on the issue.<br />
<br />
Turning to the issue of women priests, he said the Church had spoken and
 had said"no", but the role of women should not be restricted.<br />
<br />
"We cannot limit the role of women in the Church to altar girls or the 
president of a charity, there must be more," he said in a wide-ranging 
interview with Vatican journalists.<br />
<br />
Five months after he took over from Pope Benedict, he said gay people should be fully accepted in society.<br />
<br />
""The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains this very well," Pope Francis said.<br />
<br />
"It says they should not be marginalised because of this but that they must be integrated into society."<br />
<br />
But he condemned what he described as lobbying by gay people.<br />
<br />
"The problem is not having this orientation," he said. "We must be 
brothers. The problem is lobbying by this orientation, or lobbies of 
greedy people, political lobbies, Masonic lobbies, so many lobbies. This
 is the worse problem."

We talking like being gay is strange and Nigerians can't be gay. We keep
 saying God should kill them and they should be stoned. I didn't ask to

A homosexual group known as The Right Defense has expressed its 
displeasure over the unfair treatment meted out on gay people in Nigeria
 saying it is a violation of their fundamental human rights.<br />
<br />
In a statement released by the group on Tuesday in Ibadan, Oyo state 
after a meeting of its members, the group said they have been harassed 
and humiliated in many parts of the country.<br />
<br />
“Everyone should have the liberty to life and choice of living as 
endorsed by the United Nations on universal declaration for freedom of 
expression and choice for all nationalities,” the group reportedly said.<br />

The statement went further to state a few instances when homosexuals 
have been victimised in the country saying, “Amongst many others was the
 case of  Mr I.O. Ibrahim, whose home and family were attacked and

by the agents some months ago. He is currently living in abroad and 
struggling for human rights and egalitarian society globally.”<br />
<br />
The group also condemned “the dastardly act perpetrated by group of 
youths who molested and intimidated four Nigerians in Ekwe village of 
Njaba LGA, Imo State.”<br />
<br />
They were attacked, stripped and paraded across the cities over accusation of indecent practices- homosexuality.<br />
<br />
The statement was signed by Salawu K., Anisere A., Kehinde A., Orilonise
 I. A., George U., Olatoyan T., Ogunshowo L., Penu Z. K., Ogunleye A., 
Adenola B. S., Tobiloba F., Kazeem A. O. and Babatunde Ayinde R., who 
are members of the group but do not disclose their full identities.<br />
<br />
The group said instead of wasting time and energy on homosexuals, the 
Nigerian government should rather provide the dividends of democracy and
 accountability to its citizens.<br />

Well, it's very possible. That's exactly what happened to Carolyn Moos, 
Jason Collins' ex-fiance. Jason made history yesterday by becoming the 
first active NBA player to come out as gay. Before then he was living as
 a straight man. He dated Carolyn, a '6''6' female basketball star for 
eight years and even proposed to her. In 2009, a few months to their 
wedding, Jason called it off and ended things with her. Carolyn told TMZ
 today that she never once suspected that Jason was gay while they were 
dating and only found out this past weekend when he revealed everything 
to her before coming out to the world and also told her his 
homosexuality was 
the real reason he ended things with her in 2009. Carolyn told TMZ:<br />

As Benue state continues to grapple with the rising figures of HIV/AIDS 
in the state, Executive Secretary of the Benue State Agency for the 
Control of Aids (BENSACA), Mrs. Grace Wende has revealed that the agency
 recently discovered a 400-member homosexuals club existing in 
Makurdi,the Benue state capital.<br />        She said the organization 
otherwise known as Men Sleeping with Men, MSM, has a large membership of
 male students from higher institutions in the state.<br />

Wende who 
made this disclosure yesterday at a one day Training of Media 
Practioners on HIV/AIDS in Makurdi, said the existence of the g.ay club 
in the state was not helping the state government’s efforts at curbing 
the spread of the HIV virus in the state.<br />

Canadian partners in collaboration with BENSACA following the state

interacting with the group of young men who are mostly undergraduates in
 various higher institution of learning located in the state.” She 
stressed that the idea of identifying with the MSM which usually holds 
their meetings in December in Makurdi was meant to reduce the spread of 
HIV virus commonly found among them.<br />
        Mrs Wende further urged all 
stakeholders to join the fight against the virus in the state, 
stressing, “there is a heightened need for scale-up of effective and 
efficient HIV prevention efforts in the state if we must all win this 
war against the virus.”</blockquote>
