Ghanaian star actress-Jackie Appiah flew into the USA over the weekend 
to receive a well deserving honour for her excellence in Africa’s 
Entertainment Industry from the organizers of The Fascinating Africans 
Committed to Excellence (F.A.C.E.) list Awards.<br /><br />Other 
distinguished honourees were the Executive Secretary of the Economic 
Commission for Africa, Dr. Carlos Lopes, Founder and CEO of the African 
Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, Founder and Publisher 
of The Network Journal Aziz Adetimirin, Notable Fashion Designer Korto 
Momolu and Founder of the African Development Foundation George Ntim.<br /><br />The
 award ceremony which took place on Saturday-June 15, at New York, Time 
was established by Face2face Africa in 2011 to acknowledge, celebrate, 
and honor the outstanding achievements of Africans and friends of Africa
 who are contributing towards a more dynamic and advanced global 
community.

This year’s birthday celebration of ace Comedian, Olugbenga Isaac Adeyinka,
that was initially meant to be a little get-together with close friends and
associates, turned out a big event when a lot of Gbenga’s relatives, friends
and associates thronged into his new office to merry with him.<br />
<br />

Among the people who thronged the venue were Tee A, Omobaba, Foluke Daramola
and Husband, Lepacious Bose, Howie T, Alariwo, Biodun Kupoluyi of E-247
magazine, Sola Fajobi (Solar), Seun Oloketuyi of Best of Nollywood, Femi
Davies, Capital Femi, Isaac Geralds, Laffup, Chris of Big Brother Africa,
captain of industries,journalists, and so many others.<br />
<br />

The highlight of the party was the cutting of the cake conducted by
comedians Tee A and Omobaba.<br />
<br />

Expressing his heartfelt joy, Gbenga Adeyinka said, ‘’ It would be
stating the obvious that I am very happy, seeing all the people here to
celebrate with me is overwhelming. I thank the Almighty God for making this
happen for me. Thank you for your love and all you did. God bless, keep
and preserve you, I am eternally grateful’’.<br />

Beautiful singer and Mavin’s first lady, Tiwa Savge was scheduled to 
perform during half-time of a football match in Warri; however the 
weather seem to have other plans. Rain began to pour but that didn’t 
stop the gifted vocalist Tiwa from performing. She got in the rain, and

dinner they were treated to at Nkiru Anumudu’s house. The Nigeria’s
