recording artist Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal, from 
Mavin Records due to irreconcilable differences.<br /><br />Over the past 
few months, Mavin Records has made a concerted move to consolidate its 
position in the Nigerian music industry. Mavin has pursued a renewed 
ethos to raise its standards of quality and professionalism to a 
world-class level. Wande’s vision has not aligned with ours and a few 
months ago all parties mutually agreed that a separation would be the 
best course of action.<br /><br />Legal parties on both sides have spent the
 past six months trying to reach an amicable solution in terms of 
musical property rights. However the decision by Wande Coal to release 
‘Baby Face’ purportedly as his own material is a direct breach of 
intellectual property law and compelled an immediate clarification on 
our part.<br /><br />Both Mavin Records and Wande Coal have enjoyed a 
remarkable run in the course of their working relationship. It is 
unfortunate that conflicting priorities contributed to the premature 
curtailment of a hitherto fruitful accord.<br /><br />Mavin Records 
reaffirms its goal to constantly provide high quality music to our fans 
and introduce new and exciting talent into the industry. We wish Wande

Xclusive Update: Wande Coal Leaves Mavin Records?

Award-winning artiste, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal has quit Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records. The
 Nation gathered that Wande Coal, a member of the defunct Mo’hits 
records, co-owned by Dbanj and Don Jazzy, released a single Kilaju two 
days ago, under his own floated record label called Black Diamond 
Entertainment. His two previous singles Kick and Rotate had been 
released under Marvin Records.<br /><br />Although no official statement has
 been issued on Wande exit from Mavin Records, there are strong 
indications that he has moved on for good as the official cover art of 
the new single reads: Black Diamond Entertainment-Wande Coal 
Kilaju-produced by Maleek Berry.<br /><br />The producer of the single is 
another indication that things have fallen apart in the Marvin camp as 
Maleek is Wizkid’s in-house producer.<br /><br />A source who does not want 
his name in print disclosed that Wande’s career has been dormant right 
from the days of the Mo’hits records and as such he may have decided to 
take his destiny in his own hands by launching his own record label.<br /><br />“Don’t blame Wande Coal; he’s only released one full-length album, Mushin2Mohits back in 2009,” the source said. It
 would be recalled that Mavin Records was founded barely a year ago 
after the crisis that rocked Mo’Hits records. Other artistes on the 
label are Tiwa Savage, D’Prince and Dr. Sid.<br />

It now makes sense.Who gives away a£1.2m bottle of champagne or 
anything for that matter…just like that? Luxury designer Alexander Amosu
 has cleared the confusion. He took to his instagram page to explain 
that there’s a Swarovski diamond edition of his Taste of Diamond 
champagne. <strong>The diamond encrusted bottle is worth</strong><strong>£1.2m, while the Swarovski version is just £350.</strong><br />

Since the exit of D'banj the which led to the re-branding of Mo'hits 
records to Mavin records, the team have been experiencing some set backs
 in the industry even financial, so Wande have to take a quick and bold 
step of breaking out of the group.<br />

The singer is currently working on his new album which will soon be 
released sooner this year..

But the question is that is this really a good ideal for wande to leave 
Mavin records because if he finally leaves the league, there will be
